Support Caborca
Over a decade of Caborca, your support has allowed us to build and share our unique body of work. Most recently, your support allowed us to take Lying Lydia and Zoetrope to Cuba and to premiere Octopus’s Garden, a project of deep significance for our community.
During the COVID period, we shifted away from live performance, turning our attention to post-production on two short films, “Intermission” and “Patitos comiendo arroz," and two workshops of an original musical Rubalee, a heavy-metal work about the critically endangered North Atlantic right whale. In 2022, we will be bringing Zoetrope back to New York for a special run at Repertorio Español before it travels to the Pliegues y Despliegues festival in Bogotá, and also continuing development on Rubalee.
Caborca is committed to being a laboratory for theatre and performance. A donation to Caborca supports our operational personnel as well as our productions and their touring.
Caborca’s program’s are made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
